Ukraine Torch | Trip 26 Update (July ’26)

This was Trip 26 for UKRAINE TORCH. We visited Kharkiv, Dnipro and Kramatorsk Raion. We went to Kharkiv to meet defense technologists with 3rd Assault Bde. The city had remnants of destruction all over but also an incredible spirit and pride that can’t really be compared to anywhere else. They were very happy to see visitors and show off their amazing resilient city, including the historic Derzhprom in center!

We went next to Dnipro to visit units near Dobropillya and then onto Kramatorsk and Sloviansk. We delivered medical supplies, technology equipment, training aids for instructors, radio equipment and high-capacity batteries for drone reconnaissance. In Novodonetske, we delivered Starlinks/Ecoflows for Marines, who gave us a tour of their command center and shared logistical best practices. We also made soldier cooling packages to help guys cope with +100°F temperatures.

Lastly, we returned to Dnipro to accompany Unmanned Systems Forces on one of their evening flights to degrade Putin’s war machine and cripple the economy that perpetuates endless war. We fulfilled most of their requests to allow more teams to operate independently with successful results seen the following day on United 24!

Ukraine now has serious momentum on the battlefield and their long range sanctions are disabling the enemy’s oil refineries and middle-strikes are interdicting supply routes into Crimea and the occupied territories. Ukraine is also massively scaling their defense industrial base and becoming less dependent on foreign aid. That said, there were also a number of devastating attacks on cities throughout June, including damage to the Pechersk Lavra, one of Kyiv’s most holy sites, and threatened encirclements of key defensive positions in Donbas, including Kostyantynivka a town we had visited several times before. 

Having just celebrated our Independence Day, it’s important to remember how lucky we are to live in a free country, with individual liberties and the right to determine our own destiny.
